FIU’s School of Computing and Information Sciences (SCIS) is a rapidly growing program of excellence at Florida International University (FIU). The School has 29 tenure-track faculty members and over 2,000 students, including over 90 Ph.D. students. We seek well-qualified candidates in all areas; researchers in the areas of computer systems, cybersecurity, cognitive computing, data science, health informatics, and networking are particularly encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates for junior positions should have a record of exceptional research in their early careers. Candidates for senior positions must have an active and proven record of excellence in funded research, publications, and professional service, as well as a demonstrated ability to develop and lead collaborative research projects. In addition to developing or expanding a high-quality research program, all successful applicants must be committed to excellence in teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. An earned Ph.D. in Computer Science or related disciplines is required
